And if that wasn´t enough, Damien Jurado is also featured, playing harmonica. The EP also features the two album tracks "First in Line" and "24 seven" and the exclusive new songs "The City and The Outside World" and "Stranger at Ease" both carefully embellished by Fredrik Wilde´s pedal steel and Carl Edlom´s piano. The EP is thanks to it's content a good introduction to Thomas' music, but still it is a natural link between the two albums, consisting as much of Hope to Her´s lovable spirit as of Barely Touching It´s haunting lines of escapism. "How can you say we got so much in common / when you love every part of me I always hate" seems to be a direct reference to the very first line of Barely Touching It. "Warm and thoughtful lo-fi country from Sweden’s best export." - Americana UK (UK) september 2004 "These five tracks just further my belief that he’s the real deal, a special artist who’s just waiting to find his audience." - Jambase (US) october 2004 "He takes the fine craftsmanship of [Bob] Dylan and mixes it with the sly cunning wit of [Townes] Van Zandt and delivers it with [Gram] Parson’s compassion making him a highly marketable asset" (Grade A) - Roothighway (US) november 2004 - Altcountrytab (UK) october 2004 "Confirmation of a great talent" - Kindamuzik (NL) october 2004 - Uncut (UK) october 2004 Thomas Jonsson - vocals, guitar, harmonica Carl Edlom - vocals, guitars, piano, percussion Fredrik Wilde - vocals, pedal steel Tomas Lindberg - vocals, bass guitar, Henric Strömberg - Drums , Percussion Rosie Thomas - vocals Damien Jurado - harmonica Jessica Magnusson - vocals on "24 Seven" All songs written by: Thomas Jonsson Produced by: Carl Edlom
