Thomas Denver Jonsson's third solo album continues his indie/folk journey combining the Americana vein
with a high dose of Swedish temperament. He has previously released the two well-received albums
featuring collaborations with Rosie Thomas, Damien Jurado, Nina Kinert and Ned Oldham. The new album
is his most original and complex material to date spanning solo guitar instrumentals and band oriented
indie rock to dark folk tunes, quiet hymns and soulful Americana. The producer Carl Edlom has put rich
arrangements to Thomas's close songs and words and there are duets with Jennie Stearns, Ellinor Blixt
(of Bobby Baby) and Elina Johansson (Dear Euphoria). With this new string of songs Thomas puts himself
closer to contemporary folk artists such as South San Gabriel, My Morning Jacket, M. Ward, Bright Eyes
and Cat Power rather than the classical songsmiths to whom he's previously been compared.

After the recordings of the second album of Thomas' and CJ's duo
A Perfect Friend, they've got a lot of material that never fitted
into the albums that they still wanted to use in some way. This is the
first cd-r in a planned series with such material. This EP - slightly
folky twisted - includes three outtakes from the forthcoming second album,
one outtake from their debut album and a parts of a jam session from one
of their first gatherings. It also includes an inlay with APFs stories about
the songs.
